Michael ‘Pondhawk’ Gulbrandsen has owned and operated his own landscaping business for over 20 years, blending hands-on experience with formal training in landscape design and ecological architecture. He studied through the Nature Conservatory, the Zen Ecological Studies Institute, and the American Hiking Guides Association—bringing together practical skill and spiritual insight to craft spaces that truly honor the land.
